We all want something more
out of life.
Maybe it's more freedom,
more confidence, a dream job, deeper relationships, or just a sense of peace
that sticks.
The truth is — getting what
you want isn't about luck, or waiting for the “right time.” It’s about clarity,
mindset, and consistent action.
In this particular post, I
am going to break it down — no fluff, no overhype.
Just real talk about how to
figure out what you truly want, and how to actually make it happen, in Just 5
Simple Steps.

Fig 1 Get What You want in Life, You are SuperHuman |
📌 Step 1: Figure Out What You Actually Need
(Not Just What Sounds Cool)
The
“Scream-At-Your-Kitchen-Wall” Test
Ever stood in front of your fridge at 2 a.m., eyes wide, screaming, “I need cheddar-flavored Pringles!”? That’s craving, not need.
Step one: pause. Grab a
notepad and write:
- “What
do I actually need?”
- “What
desire is behind this want?”
Maybe it’s not some fancy chips—it’s comfort,
or energy, or 5 seconds of snacking joy before going back to bed.
Dig deeper.
YOU CAN TRY THIS:
- Write
3 desires (“I need new sneakers!”)
- Ask the “Why?” behind it three times:
1.
“Why? Because my feet hurt.”
2.
“Why? Because my shoes are wrecked.”
3.
“Why? Because I’m walking 10k steps a day.”
RESULT: you need comfortable walking shoes—not the flashiest
kicks for IG flexing. See?....Huge difference.

Fig 2 - Ask yourself What is your Inner resistance. |
🧠 Step 2: Understand Your Inner Resistance
(and Befriend It)
Meet Mike—Your inner Resistance
Imagine a little man named Mike who shows
up every time you try something new. Mike says things like:
- “Why do you bother?”
- “That
yoga mat is dusty, Rest for today.”
- “Stop , You’ll
mess it all up.”
He’s obnoxious, but he’s not all bad—he wants
to keep you comfortable and safe.
How to Deal with Mike:
- First Talk Back.... “Mike, I appreciate your help, but…” ... Slaps sense into yourself
- 2nd Schedule Tiny Steps, so that future you won’t have to listen him any more.
- Then, Reward Yourself.. may be a cookies or a victory dance, just positive vibe.
This is your inner therapy—and the start of you becoming the boss of your own mind.

Fig 3 - Setting a Clear Goal |
🎯 Step 3: Set Goals That Don't Suck (And
Actually Work)
The
“SMART + Fun” Approach
- Specific
— “Write 300 words a day” beats “Start writing.”
- Measurable
— Track it with a checklist.
- Achievable
— 300 words? Doable. 3,000? Depressing.
- Relevant
— Align it with your dreams.
- Time-based — 30 days max.
⚙️ Step
4: Build Tiny Systems That Work Like Magic
Remember, Systems are greater than Goals
A goal without a system is a cupcake without
frosting—sweet intentions, flat results.
Examples:
- Need
healthier eating? Try prepping a breakfast chia jar every Sunday.
- Want
to read more? Keep a book by the bed + read 5 pages nightly.
- Need
$500 extra a month? Automate savings: “Move $100 into savings every
Monday.”
These are invisible gears that keep things
running—even when motivation jets away.

Fig 5 Celebrating Small Wins |
🙌 Step 5: Celebrate Like You Just Won Olympic
Gold
The
“Yes, You Did Great” Ritual
We’re all chasing goals. But if you don’t
celebrate, life feels like a treadmill stuck on one speed (and probably dusty).
Celebration Ideas:
- Write
it on your calendar: “I wrote 300 words ✅”
- Treat
yourself: ice cream, massage, or a 30‑minute TV escape.
- Show
& tell: brag to your friend or post about it.
- Reflect:
“Hey brain, you freakin’ rocked it today.”
Repeat often. Your brain loves praise more
than a cat loves cardboard boxes.
so, let me summarize all to you
1.
**Clarify Clarity, Clarity ...the real need
2.
Befriend (and outsmart) inner resistance
3.
Set smart, fun goals
4.
Build small, powerful systems
5.
Celebrate all your steps forward
You’re not a failure for having a messy plan. You’re a human figuring things out.
So, embrace the process, laugh at the hiccups,
and remember: today’s small step equals tomorrow’s wins.
