5 Self-Development Habits That Helped Me Triple My Sales  - That Could Totally Change Your Life Too!

Success doesn’t come from what you do occasionally, it comes from what you do consistently.

Honestly, Sales can feel like dating.

Sometimes they ghost you. Sometimes you get the “it’s not you, it’s the budget.” And sometimes, they say “yes,” and you do a weird happy dance no one should ever see.

Now, before I started working on myself, my sales were meh. I was doing all the things: posting on social, sending emails, whispering sweet nothings to my offers. But nothing clicked. Why? Because I hadn’t upgraded myself.

So, developing these habits was a game-changer.

They didn’t just triple my sales — they helped me feel more in control, confident, and honestly... less chaotic.

Here are the — real, raw and most importantly — doable Habits.

🚀 Habit No. 1: The CEO Morning routine (No, You Don’t Have to Wake Up at 4am)

I used to roll out of bed, grab my phone, and scroll like a zombie. Then wonder why my brain felt like mashed potatoes by 10am. 🤷‍♀️

Then I met the concept of a “CEO Morning.” And no, it’s not sipping organic lemon water while doing yoga on a rooftop. It’s simply starting your day like you run a business — because you do.

Here’s what you can do every morning (in 45 minutes or less):

1.      Silence (5 min) – Just stare at the wall or the garden if you have one and breathe. No phone. No drama.

2.     Gratitude (5 min) – I list 3 things you are grateful for (yes, coffee counts).

3.     Clarity Check-In (10 min) – Write down:

o   Your top 3 tasks for the day

o   One goal you will be working toward

o   How you want to feel today

4.    Brain Food (10 min) – Read or listen to something inspiring (not TikTok).

5.    Movement (15 min) – Stretching, dancing, or pretending to exercise, Just move your Body..

If you ask why it works:

You start the day like a BOSS, not a frazzled raccoon.

You train your brain to focus.

You boost confidence before you even touch your inbox.

💡 Trust me, Try this for 7 days and watch your mental state — and productivity — glow up.

 💬 Habit No. 2: Rewired Your Self-Talk

Before my sales exploded, I realized… my biggest competition wasn’t other businesses.

It was my own brain saying stuff like:

·       Who do you think you are?

·       This offer’s not good enough.

·       They’re probably laughing at your Canva design.

 👏 NOT 👏 HELPFUL 👏

So Literally, I flipped the script. Literally.

If you ask How? I wrote down all my negative scripts — then rewrote them.

Example of old thought:

No one is going to buy this.

My New Script:
The right people are excited to pay me for this transformation.

Example of old thought:

I’m not good at selling.

My New Script:
I’m excellent at sharing what I believe in.

Then, I put sticky notes all over my laptop. Repeated them like a mantra. Even when I didn’t believe them yet.

If you ask why it works:

Your mind will believe whatever you tell it — eventually.

Sales is 80% mindset. If you don’t believe in your offer, why would anyone else?

💡 Start with one new belief today. Say it until it becomes true.

Learning something New Everyday
Fig 3 Learning Something New

🧠 Habit No. 3: Learned Something New (Like, Everyday)

If you are not naturally good at sales, make learning a daily habit.

You don’t have to enroll in Harvard. You can enrolled in YouTube University + Podcast School + Read-A-Book Land.

Prepare a Daily Learning Menu:

  • 🎧 10-minute sales podcast (while brushing teeth)
  • 📖 10 pages of a marketing or mindset book (before bed)
  • 🎥 1 mini YouTube video on how to write better headlines, emails, etc.

That’s it. 20–30 minutes a day. But over time? HUGE transformation.

Then overtime you will understanding things like:

  • Buyer psychology
  • How to write irresistible offers
  • Why you should stop saying “Sorry for the late reply” and say “Thanks for your patience!”

If you ask why it works:

The more you know, the more confident you feel.

Confidence = better energy = more sales.

Also, people can feel it when you’re growing — and they want to be around that.

💡 Pick one area you feel weak in (email writing? pitching? speaking?) and commit to learning 10 minutes a day.

🛠 Habit No. 4: I Got Rid of the “Busy but Broke” Syndrome

Let me guess. You’re busy all day. But at the end of the week, you ask yourself: “What did I actually do?” 🙃

Yeah, that was me too. Until I built a habit called: “Do the Money Work FIRST.”

Here’s how it works:

Every morning, before answering DMs, scrolling social media, or color-coding your Trello board...

Ask: What will actually help me get sales today? And do that first.

This might be:

  • Reaching out to potential clients
  • Sending a follow-up email
  • Posting a value-packed piece of content
  • Creating an offer
  • Pitching yourself

Don’t do any busywork until the real work is done.

Yes, this might mean you ignore Canva for 30 minutes. Your logo is cute enough already.

If you ask why it works:

You move the needle, daily. No more “working 8 hours and earning $0.”

It’s about income-producing activities, not just feeling productive.

💡 Create a “money moves” checklist and do 1 thing from it daily. No exceptions.

🧠 Habit No. 5: Track your Energy (Not Just Numbers)

I know. This one sounds fluffy. But listen, Tracking where and when you had the most energy changed everything.

Here’s what you will noticed:

  • You might sell better in the morning
  • You might wrote better content at night
  • Those zoom calls might drain you by long, and you might avoid important jobs after zoom calls
  • You might be energized after walking outdoors

Check your energy! And build your work around your energy.

You can do this to know your Energy

1.      For 7 days, write down:

o   Time of day

o   Task you were doing

o   Your energy level (1–10)

2.     Find patterns (When your brain will die)

3.     Started batching tasks based on your energy level.

Then, you can do : -

·       Sales calls when you feel confident.

·       Write content when you are creative.

·       Rest before  you crash.

If you ask why it works:

You sell best when you feel your best.

No more zombie-selling.
Just good vibes + great timing =
💸

💡 Try an “energy audit” this week. Adjust your schedule. Thank me later.

💡 Know that Your Best Sales Strategy Starts With You

Yes, strategies, funnels, content plans — they’re all important.

But the foundation of great sales?

The version of you that shows up.

  • A focused, energized, confident you
  • A version that believes in their worth
  • A version that leads with value, learns constantly, and doesn’t quit after one “no”

You can’t control how people respond.
But you can control your habits.

And habits — they create your future.

So here’s your challenge: Pick one habit and commit for 7 days.

Track the shift in your confidence, focus, and yes — sales.

You got this. Let’s triple those sales — from the inside out. 💪✨
